It happened while working on Ski Patrol!, a feature short she wrote, produced, and directed all the while dealing with the demands of the fourth grade. Years later, after wrapping up her Communications Studies at BU, she traveled the world and spent a stint teaching neglected children of the Aspen jet-set how to ski. But it was in the Big Apple that Naomi truly found herself. Buckling down at MTV creative services by day, studying film production at NYU by night, it wasn't long before she was producing on-air promos for VH1. Hogarty's deep rolodex of relationships would soon fill out to include most of cable's heavy hitters: ESPN, HBO, Disney, Showtime, Lifetime, Nickelodeon & VH1. And it didn't stop at production either, Hogarty was helping to build brands and launch channels. BDAs and other accolades would follow. Although flattered, Hogarty has always acknowledged that the passion for the work is the only driving force. With her business 91 East, Hogarty is able to bring her vision of a destination production/editorial studio to fruition.
